| Having a hard time processing all of the information from one hosting company to another?
Here’s a few facts most of us never knew? What many “high claim” hosting companies are selling is simply the appearance of VALUE. What they are doing is what any company tries to do is get you to compare their services with others and that’s not really bad if you don’t mind OVERPAYING for services rendered.
The CATCH is that in the hosting business, the majority of the customers never ever reach the full capacity/storage of what they are paying for.
Don’t let the numbers fool you!
100 megs? 1000 megs? 1 million megs?? Some hosts will use crazy storage and data transfer (bandwidth) numbers to lure new customers. Some of these are outright fraudulent (“for html files only, not graphics or images.”) and 98% are just plain unnecessary.
Most customers only use 25-50% of their storage resources. Bandwidth? Same story – only 1 of 1,000 customers will go over their allotted bandwidth over the course of a month. What some “high-claim” hosts are selling is the appearance of value, what they’re hoping for is that shoppers will just compare numbers and choose based soley on that.
